Product description

100% Essential Oil - Peppermint with its effects on the digestive, respiratory and nervous system, as well as its characteristic aroma, is considered to be an indispensable part of every first aid kit. The main ingredient is menthol, a strong smelling compound which itself causes rapid physical response when inhaled or applied to the skin. It creates a feeling of coolness which the body counteracts by increased blood flow in the area of application, producing a warming effect. Menthol is therefore often found in sports creams and cough drops.

It increases our receptive capacity at a mental and spiritual level and is beneficial for those who need inspiration and understanding.

SAFETY

Non toxic, non irritating. Always first perform a patch test to ensure there is no allergic reaction or sensitivity.  Never apply undiluted to the skin. Direct or indirect eye contact will cause irritation.

If you are pregnant, consult your doctor before use. Peppermint oil should not be used on children under 2 years of age.

Use

Inhalation

direct inhalation, diffuser, arom lamp, steam inhalation

The aroma of Peppermint strengthens, relaxes and stimulates (use during the day is better than before bedtime). Its effectiveness on concentration, focus, and mental sharpness, has been repeatedly studied. It can also help relieve congestion when inhaled.

Body

massage, compress, bath, foot bath, ointment, skin care

Refreshing for an overworked body or on the feet. It relieves itching caused by bug bites. Excellent in a cold compress for nausea and headaches. Dilute in a carrier oil and massage into the abdomen (essential oils are absorbed through the skin and can help target digestive organs in this manner). It can help relieve constipation and headaches (including migraines) by placing a drop on each temple.
