A professional and spiritually powerful tunable shamanic drum with an energy stone by Petrovič Drums. Each piece is handcrafted in Italy by Ján Petrovič.

This drum is fully tunable. Inside there is an air chamber with a discreet valve that allows you to easily adjust the tension of the hide – by inflating or releasing air. Fine tuning can also be achieved by loosening or tightening the cords, so you can adapt the sound to the environment, humidity, and your personal intention.

It is made of solid ash wood and high-quality deer hide.

Ash wood carries deep spiritual symbolism. In many traditions, it is considered the tree that connects heaven and earth – the tree of life. It represents strength, stability, and protection. Its energy supports courage, clarity in decision-making, and a strong grounding in reality. Ash also strengthens inner balance and helps you stand firmly on your own path.

Deer hide is exceptional for its natural strength, flexibility, and deep, earthy resonant tone. Compared to common drum hides, it produces a fuller and more powerful sound that resonates both in the space and within the person. It is perceived as spiritually stronger – carrying the energy of the forest, freedom, and the sensitive strength of the deer, supporting deeper connection during meditation and ritual work.

Thanks to its construction, selected materials, and active tuning system, the drum maintains a stable tone even with changes in humidity and temperature.

The hides used for Petrovič Drums are carefully selected with attention to membrane quality, thickness, durability, and natural pattern.

The lifespan of both the hide and the entire shamanic drum is significantly longer compared to lower-cost alternatives.

During the making of each drum, Ján Petrovič does not rush :) He intuitively selects the hide, wood, and stone to create the most harmonious combination possible. While crafting, he meditates and expresses gratitude to Mother Earth for the wood and the gift of the animal.

The sound of this drum carries positive vibrations, and playing it can energetically cleanse spaces and people.

We can also create a personal custom shamanic drum – you may choose a different energy stone to be set into the drum, as well as select the specific deer hide from which your drum will be made.
