An authentic rain stick made of bamboo and hard tree bark. It is painted with Indian patterns. You can achieve a surprisingly authentic sound by gently tilting it. The sound spectrum ranges from gentle drizzle to strong noise when clouds burst.
These sounds are caused by small stones falling through tiny gaps - a spiral staircase inside the stick.
Made in a traditional workshop on the island of Bali.
