Before lighting the candle, place a protective disk over the candle hole. Position the disk between the heat source and your skin/hair to catch any dripping wax and ash. Always hold the candle vertically and let it burn only up to the safety mark indicated by the candle manufacturer.
Supervision: never perform candle therapy alone; always with the help of another adult. Keep a glass of water at hand.
Environment: do not use in draughts or near flammable materials. Protect your hair and clothing and keep them away from the flame.
Contraindications: do not use ear candles in case of ear pain, inflammation, perforated eardrum, after ear surgery, if allergic to components or in children without adult supervision.
