Before the first use, rinse the bowl with lukewarm water. When preparing matcha, we recommend water at ~70–80 °C and whisking with a bamboo whisk (chasen) until a fine foam is achieved.
Hand wash only: as this is a handmade chawan, do not wash in a dishwasher. Rinse with lukewarm water; use a gentle detergent if necessary.
Care for the glaze: avoid metal/abrasive sponges to prevent damage to the surface finish.
Drying and storage: let it naturally dry; store in a dry place.
