Before the first use, rinse the bowl with lukewarm water. When preparing matcha, we recommend ~70–80 °C water and whisking with a bamboo whisk (chasen) into a fine foam.
Hand wash only: since this is a handmade chawan, do not wash in the dishwasher. Rinse with lukewarm water; for stronger dirt, use a gentle cleaner.
Gentle care for the glaze: avoid metal/abrasive sponges.
Drying and storage: let it dry naturally; store in a dry place.
