Inside there is an air core, which can be easily inflated or deflated through a discreet vent, allowing you to precisely adjust the tension of the skin and the resulting tone color. Tuning can also be subtly adjusted by loosening or tightening the cords, so you can adapt the drum to current conditions and your own feeling. It is made of solid ash wood and very high quality African goat skin from the Sahel goat.. As a result, it has significantly better properties and a stronger sound than cheaper shamanic drums made of plywood and with Asian skins.
