100% Fennel Essential Oil has a slightly spicy and earthy aroma, similar to anise.  Foeniculum Vulgare Dulce is a type of sweet fennel from France. It is also grown in Italy and Greece and grows to 6 feet high. The essential oil is steam distilled from the fennel seeds. It is great for brightening the skin, helps digestion, detoxification and with decongesting the lungs. Fennel has a long history in traditional medicine, believed to bring longevity, courage and strength. The "magical" use of fennel involves driving away evil spirits and fighting poisons.

Note that there is Bitter Fennel Oil that causes sensitization this should not be used on the skin at all.
